Arrive at the entrance of the Muyil Archaeological Zone, where you will meet your guide and settle any remaining balance for the tour.
Take a moment to use the restrooms, change into appropriate clothing, and apply biodegradable mosquito repellent in preparation for the adventure ahead.
Explore the archaeological site with your guide, delving into the prophecies, legends, myths, and the lifestyles of both pre-Hispanic and modern-day Maya. Follow a jungle trail to encounter the rich flora and fauna typical of the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve.
Next, reach the shores of Puerto Laguna Chunyaxché, where you can use the restrooms, change into suitable clothes, and apply biodegradable sunscreen.
Embark on a boat ride through the lagoon, wetlands, mangroves, and savanna ecosystems.
Once aboard, don your life vest and float down a meandering creek for nearly a kilometer, enjoying a tranquil floating meditation through the freshwater canal surrounded by mangroves, orchids, and bromeliads.
